Casper, Wyo – Casper Area Transit, ASSIST (door-to-door service) and LINK (fixed route service), operated by the City of Casper, announced that their regular operations will be temporarily impacted on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 during the 2025 Central Wyoming Fair and Rodeo Parade.

Access to the Beech Street Transfer Station will be closed for the parade starting at 8:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., impacting Blue, Green, Red, and Yellow-LINK routes. A temporary transfer station, located at the old Commissary Mall lot on the NW corner of 2nd and Kimball, will be used starting at 8:30 a.m. until the parade is over and streets are reopened.

The following LINK stops will be closed during the parade: 6th and Wolcott (Red route), Joshua’s Storehouse (Green route), and David & 7th (Green route).

Service for the Blue, Green, Red, and Yellow LINK routes will resume using the Beech Street Transfer Station at 12:30 p.m. The LINK buses for Evansville (Orange route) and Mills (Purple route) will operate unchanged on their scheduled routes during the parade.

The door-to-door ASSIST services will not be able to service any location on a street that is closed for the parade, including Skyline Towers at 300 E. Collins, the Wyoming National Apartments at 204 E. 2nd and the Sunshine Apartments at 400/403 S. Durbin. ASSIST services for all other locations will continue as usual.
